The TechSpec F-Theta scanning lenses from Edmund Optics Inc. are optimized for use with Nd:YAG lasers operating at 1064 nm or with CO₂ lasers operating at 10.6 μm. Suitable for industrial applications, the lenses are available with focal lengths ranging from 100 to more than 250 mm and can scan fields as large as 175 × 175 mm. The lenses for Nd:YAG lasers incorporate three elements with antireflection coatings to provide optimal resolution and throughput, and those for CO₂ lasers are designed with a single element. All lenses offer standard M85 threading to facilitate mounting and retrofitting on OEM equipment, and they provide a flat field at the image plane.
