Nippon Avionics Co. Ltd. has released the Advanced Thermo TVS-500EX, an IR thermography camera. The camera has a temperature resolution of 0.05 °C and a spatial resolution of 1.07 mrad. It is supplied with a software package that enables recording both thermal and visible images at 1/60 of a second, as well as image mixing for combining visible and thermal footage. An optional real-time data transfer feature permits recording up to 400 thermal images on the camera, an optional extended temperature feature allows measurement ranging from 200 to 4000 °C, and both telescopic and close-up lenses are available.
