The vBeam laser beam profiling software from Visulux LLC is written in Java programming language and includes full software source code. It is designed based on laser-related ISO standards and enables logging and viewing data calculations in real time. In a variety of formats, it produces single-page summaries as well as multipage reports that include charts and logged data. It captures images at 640 × 480, 320 × 240 or 160 × 120 with user-supplied frame grabbers and cameras, including simple Web cameras. It uses full image-based second movement techniques, as well as knife-edge-based measurement and equation-fitting methods. Advanced driver technology connects the software to Windows-based video input systems.
