NIR CAMERA
The NIR-300 camera from
VDS Vosskühler GmbH has a spectral response of 900 to 1700 nm and an InGaAs sensor with a resolution of 320 × 256 pixels. It records all pixels simultaneously and reads them out in progressive-scan mode. At a rate of 50 Hz, the device delivers low-noise images with 14-bit resolution. It has an electronic full-frame shutter and exposure times from 100 μs to 100 ms (without cooling). It is offered with interfaces for low-voltage differential signaling, IEEE-1394, Camera Link and Gigabit Ethernet. A Peltier-cooled version for longer exposure times is available, as is an uncooled model. The devices, which use C-mount lenses, have applications in imaging spectroscopy, semiconductor inspection and thermal imaging of hot objects (150 to 800 °C).
