Adept Technology Inc. has released AdeptSight 2.0, the latest addition to its PC-based machine-vision product portfolio. The system features a color option, a color matching tool and color processing necessary for advanced parts inspection. It is available for integrated robot guidance and inspection or as a stand-alone vision inspection product. It runs on commercial PCs with Windows and comes with a camera, a lens and accessories. Calibration wizards support arm-mounted, tool-mounted and upward-facing camera positions.
