Panasonic Systems Solutions Co. has developed a three-CCD remote-head camera system with multiformat high definition for medical, microscopy, inspection, testing and industrial applications. Compact and easy to navigate, the device is 1080i- and 720p-selectable. Its 3 1/3-in. 16 × 9 high-definition sensors operate at 60 fps. A digital signal processor provides inner processing at 19 bits and 14-bit A/D conversion. Independent color control and a 12-axis matrix ensure color quality. The device’s dynamic range feature expands contrast in dark areas without sacrificing detail.
