ERBIUM-DOPED FIBER

StockerYale_ErbiumDopedFibe.jpgStockerYale’s doping method provides a homogeneous glass matrix for higher power conversion efficiency and consistency for the company’s EDF-T9 erbium-doped amplifier fiber. In addition, the doping method enables precise control over aluminum and the ability to match the gain spectrum of the EDF-T9 to any existing gain-flattening filter or to that of another standard available erbium-doped fiber. The fiber may be used for telecom erbium-doped fiber amplifier designs. In addition, short-wavelength single-mode fibers have been added for applications requiring single-mode visible and near-UV light delivery.
