Avago Technologies Ltd. of San Jose, Calif., has acquired the Polymer Optical Fiber business of Infineon Technologies AG of Munich, Germany. The business, based in Regensburg, produces multimedia networks and receivers for automotive safety systems in addition to transmitters and receivers for transportation switching and home broadband applications.
