Nanoident Technologies AG of Linz, Austria, has opened a new facility, Nanoident Organic Fab GmbH, for the high-volume manufacture of printed semiconductor-based optoelectronic sensors. Located in the same city, the division will use the company’s Semiconductor 2.0 Platform to make photodetetors, LEDs, transistors, photovoltaic cells and other devices for clients in the industrial, security and life sciences fields. The technology enables the production of bendable, ultrathin products with a large surface area.
