GE Consumer & Industrial of Cleveland has renamed its LED business Lumination LLC, reflecting the unit’s intent to strengthen its position globally in the white LED general illumination market segment, which encompasses commercial, industrial and residential lighting. Formerly known as Gelcore LLC, the subsidiary is based in Valley View, Ohio. It provides LED lighting for applications in signage, architecture, retail display and transportation signals.
