New Scale Technologies Inc. of Victor, N.Y., has announced plans to create a $1 million center for the manufacture of its patented piezoelectric Squiggle motors. The 15,000-sq-ft facility will allow the company to increase production to 100,000 motors per month to fulfill existing and anticipated contracts. The motors are used for mobile phone camera modules and other miniature devices.
