Marlow Industries Inc., a Dallas-based subsidiary of II-VI Inc. of Saxonburg, Pa., has signed a partnership agreement with Guangdong Fuxin Electronic Technology Ltd. Co., of Foshan, China. The companies will jointly develop thermoelectric-based products and applications for the industrial and con- sumer markets. Marlow is a specialist in thermoelectric cooling technology, while Fuxin supplies thermoelectric-based consumer appliances in high volume. II-VI expects to become a noncontrolling minority investor in Fuxin by June. Also, a series of distribution agreements have been established between Marlow and Fuxin to expand their presence worldwide.
