Compact diode-end-pumped solid-state lasers with symmetric beam quality of M² <1.3 have been released by EdgeWave GmbH. The IS series Innoslab lasers produce an average power of higher than 60 W at 1064 nm and 30 W at 532 nm, with a pulse width between 5 and 14 ns and repetition rates from single-pulse to 50 kHz. They are suitable for microprecision materials processing applications such as hole drilling, milling, solar cell processing, wafer scribing, surface marking and subsurface marking of transparent materials. They can pump Ti:sapphire and dye lasers and optical parametric oscillators.
