IR COOLED CAMERA
An infrared cooled camera for ultrafast thermographic analysis has been launched by
Cedip Infrared Systems. The Silver 480M uses analog inputs for synchronous acquisition of external sensor signals that, after processing by a lock-in technique, enable sensitive and accurate nondestructive evaluation, fatigue testing and stress analysis. Based on proprietary cryogenically cooled staring focal plane array detectors and incorporating the latest readout integrated circuit technology, the camera has a 320 × 240-pixel InSb detector that produces a 400-Hz full frame rate and that maintains high linearity and typical sensitivity of 20 mK.
