Matrix Vision GmbH has released the mvSigma-SQe — an updated version of its four-channel frame grabber board designed to accommodate the PCI Express bus standard. The new bus standard enables parallel operation of the multiple frame grabbers, permitting full use of the 250-MB/s bandwidth. The mvSigma-SQe, which includes 16 CVBS/gray or four Y/C video inputs as well as eight outputs, supports high-speed input switching. The board also features fixed gain or automatic gain control, scalings, and color space conversions, and it includes the mvImpact Base library and drivers for Linux and Microsoft Windows systems.
