LINE-SCAN CAMERA
The Imaging Solutions Group of New York Inc. has added the LW-PE-2048-1394 line-scan camera to its LightWise series. Incorporating a PerkinElmer CCD linear sensor, the device has 2048 × 1 pixels running at 18 K lines per second. Its imagers operate at rates of up to 40 MHz with 12-bit pixel resolution. Suitable for integration into existing systems, the device has a FireWire interface that is IIDC DCAM Spec. Version 1.3-compliant. It also features external optoisolated programmable I/O’s for trigger and strobe functions. The camera has applications in metrology, machine vision, automated assembly and industrial bar-code reading.
