Veeco to Support Lighting Research
To develop materials and device technology for high-efficiency solid-state lighting, Veeco Instruments Inc. of Woodbury, N.Y., a provider of metrology and process equipment solutions for the manufacture of high-brightness LEDs, has been selected to join the Solid-State Lighting and Display Center at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Veeco will support the center’s mission, collaborating with the university’s faculty and student researchers and with other member companies.
