A cold plate for laser diode cooling has been released by Elite Thermal Engineering. The SCP-390 has a cooling capacity of 390 W when the set temperature is equal to ambient, and the company says that it is 50% more powerful than its predecessor. The plate has the mounting patterns for most diodes, and custom patterns are available. It is suitable for high-power laser diodes that dissipate more than 200 W of concentrated heat.
