GIGABIT ETHERNET CAMERA

The mvBlueCougar, manufactured by
Matrix Vision GmbH, is a Gigabit Ethernet camera with a transfer rate of up to 1 Gb/s at distances of up to 10 km. It has a variety of sensors, including CCD types with resolutions of 640 × 480 pixels at 60 Hz, 1024 × 768 at 39 Hz and 1600 × 1200 at 16 Hz. Also offered are CMOS sensors with 1280 × 1024-pixel resolution at 16 Hz. All are available in color and monochrome versions. Two digital inputs and outputs deliver trigger and flash, and 128 MB of SDRAM reduces delays during sending and reception. The hardware real-time controller provides time-critical input/output and acquisition control. Sequences of working steps can be defined for generation of trigger signals, synchronization of diverse cameras, and fast generation of image sequences with different flash and exposure settings.
