Incom Inc. has introduced custom-made microcapillary array plates for a variety of analysis, sensing and processing functions. The plates are available in large-area-format wafers (15 × 10 in.) that are up to 10 in. thick, with capillary diameters that can be specified from 5 to 250 μm. They are made of clear or black glass and can be used for a variety of applications, including bioplates for medical and life sciences analysis and as a component for biometric scanning in homeland security.
