DiCon Fiberoptics Inc. has expanded its family of LED illuminators with the tunable LED illuminators model, a compact solution for microscopy applications. It offers a tunable range of white or colored lights without the use of filters. It offers a color temperature range from 2500 to 7500 K, a color rendering index value of >90 and a dimming range from 0 to 100%. Its compact form and flexible orientation enable direct mounting on microscopes or direct use as a benchtop light source.
