GE Healthcare has unveiled the 3.0T magnetic resonance scanner, the latest addition to its Signa family of MR systems. The MR750 features a parallel imaging technique, called autocalibrating reconstruction for Cartesian imaging, that reduces absorption rates, and allows for less sensitive field-of-view positioning with a tight field of view and autocalibration that helps avoid collecting external sensitivity maps. It also offers advanced applications, including the Lava-Ideal, a dual-echo acquisition technique; the Vibrant-Ideal, an application that enables fat-free breast imaging; and the Propeller 2.0, a technique that provides small field-of-view scans.
