HANNOVER, Germany, Aug. 27, 2014 — The FiberLock from TEM Messtechnik GmbH is an automatic, single-mode-fiber coupling device.
The system optimizes coupling efficiency and maintains stability by using an active 2-D piezo-driven mirror that automatically adjusts tip and tilt.
The FiberLock scans laser beams up to kilohertz frequencies. The device is equipped with two modes: lock, which will lock the piezo scanner at the point of maximum coupling efficiency, and NoiseEater, which cancels all intensity noise introduced along the optical path.
