Edmund Optics has added a visible 0° antireflection coating option to its Tech Spec planoconvex and -concave, double-convex and -concave and achromatic lines. The coating features an average reflectance of less than 0.4% over the spectral band from 425 to 675 nm. The planoconvex line offers effective focal lengths of 4 to 750 mm for diameters of 4 to 25 mm; the planoconcave, focal lengths of –12 to –100 mm for diameters of 12 to 25 mm; the double-convex, focal lengths of 4.5 to 400 mm for diameters of 4.5 to 25 mm; and the double-concave, focal lengths of –6 to –100 mm, for diameters of 6 to 25 mm. All focal lengths have 1% tolerance. The achromats offer focal lengths of 10 to –150 mm (2% tolerance) for diameters of 6.25 to 30 mm.
