The updated SDK offers a proven host environment that can be easily customized for specific imaging applications without starting from scratch, thereby reducing development risk and cost. It supports the features and functionality of the recently released Image-Pro Plus Version 7.0 and includes a plug-in wizard that allows users to automatically generate an entire C++ project, including the source code, resource file and project file.

Users can compile and link with Image-Pro Plus. Developers can add features that are unique to their imaging application, or tailor the software to suit a specific vertical market.

Developers can use the SDK to tailor Image-Pro’s menus and toolbars to their specifications, create plug-ins that can be called from Image-Pro's user interface, create plug-ins that can read or write data directly to and from an active image, create a setup disk to install their custom plug-in, and control external devices. SDK plug-ins can be developed using C#, C++, Visual Basic or VB.Net programming languages.

Image-Pro Plus combines the latest tools for scientific and industrial image analysis into one intuitive software package, and it has the tools needed to easily capture, enhance, process, measure and analyze images.
