PI Names Culpi Engineering Chief of PI miCos Products

Apr 2013AUBURN, Mass., April 9, 2013 — PI (Physik Instrumente) USA has extended support for the PI miCos precision positioning product lines with the appointment of William Culpi as engineering chief.
Culpi will be responsible for the subsidiary’s custom designs and the integration of complex precision positioning systems for OEMs and research customers.
Culpi previously was vice president of engineering at miCos USA, where he developed a line of piezopositioning systems. Before that, he held engineering and management positions at Newport Corp. and developed laser imaging systems at Excellon Automation/Excellon Photonics. He holds several US patents.
