Aifotec Fiberoptics Doubles Capacity
Aifotec Fiberoptics GmbH of Meiningen, Germany, has added customized assembly equipment to double its monthly output and to support its ongoing process and system design R&D efforts. The new equipment can support postbond accuracy within ±0.5 µm, full wafer and precut die handling up to 8 in. with wafer mapping, flip-chip capability, and single-channel and array assembly. Aifotec now offers the complete range, from die assembly to prototype to pigtailed optical modules, with its strategic manufacturing partner Focuz Mfg. Co. Ltd. of Bangkok.
