The new C12200-321 X-ray TDI (time delay integration) camera offers fast scanning speed for X-ray inspection of electronic, pharmaceutical, food, and other products when high sensitivity and high resolution are required. At full resolution, the 8 kHz TDI line rate allows conducting inspection speeds up to 23 m/min. With 2 x 2 pixel binning, an even faster speed—up to 36.8 m/min—can be attained.

The C12200-321 camera utilizes a TDI CCD image sensor, which offers higher resolution than standard line scan cameras, without compromising high sensitivity. The TDI CCD image sensor has 4608 horizontal pixels and 128 TDI stages, and each pixel measures 48 µm x 48 µm. The image sensor is coupled to a fiber optic plate with scintillator (FOS) designed for an X-ray detection range of 25-130 kV.

Detection width of the C12200-321 camera is 221 mm. Its slim design allows the camera to be installed between conveyor belts. The camera operates from +15V power supply. X-ray images are transferred to a computer as 12-bit data stream via a CameraLink interface. Dark current and shading corrections are performed in real time.
