The G11097-0707S is a low-cost InGaAs image sensor with 128 x 128 pixels and 50 µm pixel pitch. It has excellent linearity and high sensitivity. With spectral sensitivity from 950 nm to 1700 nm, it is suitable for most NIR imaging applications that currently use more expensive, higher density image sensors. Such applications include thermal imaging, laser beam profiling, and NIR inspection.
The G11097-0707S features a hybrid structure consisting of a back-illuminated InGaAs photodiode array bump-bonded to a CMOS readout circuit. The readout circuit has a built-in timing generator that provides an analog video output and AD-TRIG output, which are easily obtained by just supplying a master clock and master start pulses. The hybrid sensor chip and a one-stage TE cooler that ensures stable operation are hermetically sealed in a metal package.
