LITTLE ROCK, Ark., July 11, 2011 — Power Technology Inc.'s instrument-quality 515-nm 20-mW green laser diode modules were created to address the needs of high-end OEM applications requiring good optical quality, and ultrastable wavelength and output powers.
Applications include laser-induced fluorescence, spectroscopy, data storage, flow cytometry, cancer diagnosis, remote optical sensing, holography and illumination.
The devices use a green diode laser instead of a traditional diode-pumped solid-state configuration. The ultrastable 515-nm green laser diode and instrument-quality package produce a stable module with low noise. Key features include active temperature control, stable wavelengths and output, the availability of beam circularization and modulated versions, and an adjustable focus.
