Oz Optics Ltd. is offering services for terminating polarization-maintaining (PM) fibers with commercially available ST and FC connectors. Polarization extinction ratios of 25 dB are achieved using stress-free epoxies and specialized techniques. The company also uses its own PM connectors for fibers with 80- and 125-µm-diameter cladding to achieve typical connector losses of 0.6 dB.
