Two families of solid-state lasers have been unveiled by
CVI Melles Griot. The 85 BCF models operate at 488 nm and the 85 YCF, at 561 nm. They have integrated single-mode standard or polarization-maintaining fiber delivery and beam output that is circular and nonastigmatic. The systems are equipped with a turnkey power supply and an RS-232 interface. The blue lasers deliver up to 20 mW and consume <20 W. They offer stable output from 10 to 45 °C. The yellow models deliver up to 15 mW and consume <30 W, offering stable output from 15 to 35 °C. Both have beam quality of M
