With Foctek Photonics Inc.’s penta prisms, users can deviate an incident beam to 90° without inverting or reversing. Made of BK7 Grade A optical glass, the components have a ±0.2 mm dimension tolerance. They feature reflectivity of >90% per face at 400 to 700 nm and better than 60-40 scratch-and-dig surface quality. Users may order the prisms uncoated or with antireflection coating on the input and output sides. The components are commonly used for plumbing levels, surveying, aligning, rangefinding and optical tooling.
