BK7 and fused-silica beam-folding penta prisms in sizes from 1/2 to 3 in. and in quantities from one to 1000 are available from CVI Laser LLC. Exterior surfaces can be antireflection- or metal-coated, or they can be left uncoated to meet application requirements. The prisms act as precise 90° turning mirrors that are insensitive to, and independent of, alignment.
