Hellma Cells Inc.'s cathodeon-pulsed and continuous-deuterium lamps are aligned with built-in SMA fiber optic connectors. Each connector has an aperture diameter of 0.5 mm and a focusing lens. An option for a cutoff filter below either 220 or 280 nm is available. Applications include miniature spectrometers and remote sensing.
