Janos Technology Inc. has expanded its optical testing services with the release of the QED subaperture stitching interferometer. The automated workstation features a five-axis computer-numerical-control machine base integrated with a Zygo VeriFire AT phase-shifting interferometer that measures lenses that have up to a 280-mm diameter and a numerical aperture of 1. The instrument automatically acquires and stitches subaperture data, calculating and compensating for reference wavefront errors to achieve better than λ/100 P-V accuracies at 632.8 nm.
