The IntelliSCAN 10 galvanometer-based scan heads for the deflection of laser beams offer extended status messages. Produced by Scanlab AG, the devices allow real-time monitoring of parameters such as position, speed and amplifier current, and they enable operators to detect, correct and document irregular operational states. The scanners are driven with digital servo amplifiers instead of analog electronics. The servos, which employ a control algorithm, enable improved dynamics and marking quality. The scan system can be queried for serial number, date of manufacture, accumulated operating hours and other parameters.
