LASER LINE FILTERS Rolyn Optics Co.'s laser line filters have a diameter of 25.4 ±0.25 mm and a maximum thickness of 7 mm. These interference filters are designed to block extraneous energy and to allow only the pure laser wavelength to pass. They also can be used to simulate the same laser wavelength by screening all other energy from a broadband source. Sensitive to temperature and angle-of-incidence changes, the filters operate at zero incidence and 23 °C. The passband is typically 10 ±2 nm (FWHM), and blocking outside the band is 0.01% from 0.2 to 3.5 µm.
