Rolyn Optics Co. offers laser diode modules that are suitable for positioning, alignment, measurement and robotic control. Designed for OEMs, the red-visible laser diodes come in a variety of packages and with circular or elliptic spots. The self-contained modules include the laser diode, optics and power supply. Wavelengths of 635, 650 and 670 nm are available with optical output power of 0.9 to 17 mW. The laser diodes have an expected lifetime of more than 20,000 h. Custom designs and configurations also are available.
