The ISV400 visible source incorporates a 12-in.-diameter integrating sphere with a 4-in.-diameter exit port and a barium sulfate interior coating that provides uniform, lambertian luminance.
Electro Optical Industries Inc. designed the system for test and calibration of devices that respond in the visible light spectrum, including photometers, CCD cameras, radiometers, remote sensing systems and vision-enhancement systems. The device uses closed-loop control of the detector/attenuator system to set and maintain the desired output level. The company says the silicon detector continuously monitors the output of the lamps and provides feedback to the attenuator for stable and repeatable performance.
