Ever-Guard, a laser containment system composed of an aluminum barrier with an absorbing black matte finish, is available from Kentek Corp. It has undergone extensive testing rated in excess of 1200 W/cm2 for 3 min. The company says the system can be placed anywhere and takes up very little space when collapsed. The barrier has high-impact casters, allowing each free-standing single, bi- or trifold configuration to be moved within the work space or into storage. The compact panels are preassembled.
